Chris initially trained and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor with DTZ Debenham Tie Leung. He moved into property tax and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser with PricewaterhouseCoopers, before moving to Deloitte as a Tax Director to head their Capital Allowances Team.
Chris's experience includes all aspects of capital allowances consultancy particularly in relation to PFI, office buildings and associated fitting-out works, hotels, retail fit out, infrastructure, transportation, sports stadia and industrial buildings. He is also particularly experienced in Land Remediation Tax Relief, Construction Industry Tax Deduction Scheme (CITDS) and the tax structuring of tenant inducements.
Chris is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Chartered Tax Advisor. He was the Chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Taxation Policy Panel for over 10 years.
