Yewell Consulting has undertaken capital allowances reviews on in excess of £300 million of new student residence projects. We have recently completed and agreed the claim on a £90 million development in East London which comprised a 320 room facility.
Our involvement typically includes:
- Attending initial design team meetings to explore ECAs planning opportunities
- Providing capital allowances contract clauses for inclusion in the tendering documentation.
- Reviewing the application of the legislation in respect of the “dwellings exemption” in respect of the annual use of the property.
- Analysing total project expenditure and producing interim and final capital allowances claims.
